1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using SwiftSeal, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
2. Description of Service
SwiftSeal is an electronic signature platform that allows you to upload documents, add signature fields, send documents for signing, and download completed signed documents. We provide an audit trail for each document to verify signing events.
3. Account Registration
To use SwiftSeal, you must create an account with accurate information. You're responsible for maintaining the security of your account and all activities under it. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.
4. Electronic Signatures
Electronic signatures created through SwiftSeal are intended to be legally binding under the ESIGN Act (US), eIDAS (EU), and similar laws in other jurisdictions. However, certain documents may require wet signatures or notarization by law — it's your responsibility to ensure electronic signatures are appropriate for your use case.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:
- Use the service for illegal purposes
- Upload malicious files or attempt to compromise our systems
- Forge signatures or sign documents without authorization
- Violate others' intellectual property rights
- Resell or redistribute the service without permission
- Exceed rate limits or abuse the API
6. Subscription & Billing
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. You can cancel anytime; your subscription will remain active until the end of the billing period. Refunds are provided at our discretion. Free tier usage limits apply as described on our pricing page.
7. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of documents you upload. By using SwiftSeal, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your documents as needed to provide the service. We own all rights to the SwiftSeal platform, brand, and code.
8. Service Availability
We strive for high availability but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. For significant changes, we'll provide reasonable notice.
9. Limitation of Liability
SwiftSeal is provided "as is" without warranties. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the past 12 months.
10. Termination
You can close your account at any time. We may terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service ends immediately.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. For material changes, we'll provide notice via email or the website.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Oregon, USA. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Oregon.
